After moving west with the Dodgers in 1958, fifty-two years passed without a championship until even-year titles in 2010, 2012 and 2014 — built around Buster Posey and Madison Bumgarner, who threw twenty-one World Series innings in 2014 and allowed one earned run. Career totals: eight World Series, twenty-three NL pennants, twenty World Series appearances. Oracle Park, opened in 2000, is famous for McCovey Cove beyond the right-field wall and for Barry Bonds's 73-homer season in 2001 and 756th career home run in 2007.
