Austrian drinks company Red Bull bought Jaguar Racing in 2005 and relaunched it, though the factory sits in Milton Keynes, England. Early on the team was dismissed as marketing-first, but hiring Adrian Newey in 2006 changed everything. Cars from the RB6 through RB9 gave Sebastian Vettel four straight titles from 2010 to 2013, with mastery of exhaust-blown diffusers the weapon of that era. Hybrid rules pushed Red Bull back in 2014, but the 2022 ground-effect regulations restored it to the front and Max Verstappen became champion four years running from 2021 to 2024. The RB19 set the all-time team win rate in 2023 with 21 victories from 22 races. Through the end of 2024 the team had six constructors' titles, eight drivers' titles and 122 wins, with Christian Horner at the helm for nearly 20 years from the start. From 2026 it will build its own power unit in partnership with Ford.

The 2021 title war with Mercedes is this team's defining rivalry; in the early 2010s it went to a final-round showdown three times against Ferrari and Fernando Alonso. The structure that developed Vettel and Verstappen through sister team Toro Rosso is also part of its identity.
