🏍️Records

MotoGP · The premier class of motorcycle Grand Prix racing: 1,000cc prototypes, 360 km/h straights and 64-degree lean angles, decided by tenths of a second.

Motorcycle Grand Prix records span 77 seasons and five different premier-class formulas, so most of them come with an era attached. Race counts have grown from six rounds in 1949 to 22 in 2026, and since 2023 each round has offered two scoring races, which makes season points totals incomparable across periods. The records below separate the ones that are genuinely durable, such as Agostini's championship count, from the ones that have moved because the calendar grew.

Wherever a mark belongs to an active rider it is anchored to a specific point in time. Marc Marquez in particular is still adding to several of these; his win, pole and Sprint totals are current to the stated round rather than final.
