His 2023 season is statistically the most dominant ever driven: 19 wins from 22 races, 1,000-plus laps led, victory margins measured in tens of seconds. The strongest evidence is 2024, when the Red Bull fell back to third-fastest for long stretches and he won the title anyway on racecraft and consistency — including a wet-weather drive from 17th to victory at Interlagos that stands with the great rain performances. Critics note his title era coincided with weak teammate comparisons and Red Bull's design edge; the Brazil 2024 answer is that he wins without it. His ceiling is the top of this list.
